The Get-VMSwitchExtension cmdlet gets the extensions on one or more virtual switches. These extensions may be of different types, and may be either enabled or disabled. Output can be filtere
d by extension. The retrieved extension object does not contain embedded objects for features, or an array of feature IDs.

  • What value is the -VMswitch parameter expecting? The documentation says it wants type vmswitch, not string, but I can’t find what that means. I tried with the results from Get-VMswitch, but the name of the switch doesn’t work.
